Release of Sequences with Intervals module |

There are situations when rather small, still useful feature, like option to define intervals to standard OpenERP sequences, is required. Now you have an option to do that with base_sequence_intervals module. It will suite OpenERP installations in countries, where numbering sequences assigned by tax authority are used for issuing some accounting documents. You can use this functionality for any standard sequence in OpenERP, without any additional tweaking to the installation. You just have to install the module and go to the Administration/Configuration/Sequences/Sequences menu, open the required sequence and define intervals for it. We have created Lauchpad project for this module, where you can get source code and download packaged installable. Downloads are available from our web-page's Downloads section too. You are welcome to use standard Launchpad features for reporting bugs and other actions. Translation feature in Launchpad will be made available in a while. |

Data migration module released |

We are pleased to announce the release of data migration module for OpenERP. This tool will help automating data migration process from one database to another. This is the only freely available tool for automating data migration between TinyERP 4.2. and OpenERP 5.0. databases. It will help moving data between databases not only 4.2. to 5.0., but also between two 5.0. installations. This is result of our constant work on improving OpenERP functionality coverage. It was obvious that freely available migration tool is absolutely required, to be sure of your investment in this system. You can find description of these modules in the page. As always we will provide bug fixing service free of charge and patched versions as soon as it is possible. Reporting engine release candidate available |

Our first release this year... We would like to announce a new release of OpenOffice reporting engine for OpenERP. This release included extensive improvements for pdf conversion and other parts of the code. Now it is possible to run OpenERP and OpenOffice.org on separate systems over network. It means that it is easier to set up working system and employ load balancing. Although it needs more tests to be done on Windows platform, we rewrote some parts of the code to make this system more compatible for Windows installations. |

Initial description of this module and screenshots were available for some time on our website, now we have released also the module. Module is licensed under GPL license, so it is being provided for public use free of charge.
